Are you interested in gardening but just don't have the space at home?
25 x 25ft garden plots are available at the Warren County Conservation District property for $25 each.
What WCCD is responsible for...
- WCCD will be responsible for plowing the plots.
- Plots will be available for the gardeners to begin gardening no later than Memorial Day weekend.
- Each plot will be marked with a flag that has the renter's name on it.
What the gardeners are responsible for...
- Keeping weeds under control.
- Keeping compost, grass clippings, etc. out of the walkways.
- Removing any non-natural elements from the garden at the end of the season. (i.e. posts, strings, plastic, cans, etc.)
Other things to note...
- Do not throw any plant material over the fence into the intensive grazing area for the animals. Many plants are toxic to livestock.
- Water is not guaranteed to be available at the garden plots.
- Landscape fabric or plastic are not allowed.
- WCCD is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to garden plots.
